ARTICLE 1 – PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED


Ordering & browsing our site:


When you make a purchase or create a customer account on our site, as part of our buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you provide to us that is necessary to prepare and deliver your package to you, such as your name, address and email address, postal address and telephone number.


This order data is transmitted to our logistics service providers who prepare and transport the package to your home. They have absolutely no right to use your data for anything other than to process your order. If you choose to have your order delivered outside of Europe, your data such as your postal address is necessarily transmitted to the logistics services of the carrier who will deliver to you in this country.


Data may be stored in or retrieved from your browser, usually in the form of cookies. They collect information about you, your preferences or your device and browser. They are usually only set in response to actions made by you which amount to a request for services (e.g. an order).

Data collected via cookies is stored for a maximum period of 13 months.

We may also allow third-party companies to place cookies (such as, in particular, advertising agencies, advertisers, communication consulting agencies, audience measurement and advertising campaign performance measurement companies, targeted advertising providers, partners in affiliate programs) in order to establish your profile and identify your interests, personalize and organize the content and features of the Site, optimize the sending of our newsletters, determine the origin of their visitors and calculate the resulting remuneration. Emails:


If you have decided to follow us by email (via the form on our site or by checking the corresponding box in the purchasing process), we use your email address to send you our news (new products, etc.) or to communicate information relating to your purchase or browsing history on our site. Please note that if you no longer wish to receive these emails, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the “unsubscribe” unsubscribe link located at the bottom of the emails. The effect is immediate.


The emailing tool we use is American. It complies with the principles of the EU-US and Swiss-US Privacy Shield Frameworks. In addition, and as a “processor”, this emailing tool is required to comply with the legal requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).


Audience measurement:


We use audience analysis tools (such as Google Analytics) to better understand the activity on our site, how you react, and to improve the performance of our site so that it corresponds as much as possible to your uses. As such, we provide these tools with data on your browsing history on our site and information on the products ordered. All data handled for statistical purposes outside Europe is completely anonymized.


Product reviews:


Your email address, your name, first name and your order reference are transmitted to our partner who will send you a review form in an email. Your email address is not published on our site at the time of publication of your review. This data is not transmitted to any other company and this data is only used for the purpose of evaluating your experience with our products.


Advertisement :


If you have consented, advertising cookies are placed when you visit our site to then display targeted advertising messages when you browse other sites. The data collected is anonymous and is only used for advertising features.


How long is my personal data kept?


The length of time we retain personal data depends on our business needs and legal obligations.


In the context of the purchase of products, we keep your data for as long as it is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected (e.g. management of the commercial relationship between you and us), and for any other related purposes such as monitoring our stocks but while complying with the applicable legislation regarding security and data retention.


If you agree to receive our emails, your data is kept until you request to unsubscribe or delete your personal data, or sometimes after a certain period of inactivity (for a maximum of 3 years from the last contact (e.g.: click in one of our emails).


In the event of the creation of a customer account, the data will be kept until you send a request to delete them or sometimes after a period of inactivity on your part (for a maximum of 3 years from the end of the commercial relationship (e.g. last order) or the last contact (e.g. click in one of our emails).

ARTICLE 3 – COOKIES


When you browse our site or place an order, data may be stored in or retrieved from your browser, usually in the form of cookies. A cookie is a small text file saved by the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone and which allows user data to be stored in order to facilitate navigation and enable certain other features.


We use first-party cookies for the proper functioning of our site, most of these cookies cannot be disabled in our systems. They allow us to memorize your information entered in the forms on our site so that you do not have to enter it again during your use, but also to manage and secure access to your account, or to your shopping cart.


Here is a non-exhaustive list of cookies relating to the operation of our site:

- session_id: unique session identifier, allows Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc.).

- shopify_visit: no data held, persists for 30 minutes from the last visit. Used by our website provider's internal stats tracking system to record the number of visits.

- shopify_uniq: no data held, expires midnight (relative to the visitor) of the next day. Calculates the number of visits to a store by a unique customer.

- cart: unique identifier, persistent for 2 weeks, stores information about your shopping cart.

- secure_session_id : unique session identifier

- storefront_digest: unique identifier, undefined if the store has a password, it is used to know if the current visitor has access.

We will disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or to protect ours or others' rights, property, or safety.


We have taken the necessary precautions to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We will therefore not share your personal information with third parties without your prior consent (except as provided above). As explained above, your information may be communicated to trusted third parties who support us in the administration and proper functioning of our site, to the extent that these partners undertake to keep this information confidential.



ARTICLE 5 – SHOPIFY


Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.


Your data is stored through Shopify's data storage, databases, and the general Shopify application. Your data is stored on a secure server behind a firewall.



Payment:


If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your order. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.


All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.


PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.



ARTICLE 6 – SERVICES PROVIDED BY THIRD PARTIES



Generally, the third party providers we use (Processors) will only collect and use your personal data to the extent necessary to enable them to perform the services they provide to us.


However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.


For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.


In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your personal data may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

 

As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.


Once you leave our store's website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website's Terms of Service.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.


Finally, we recommend that you adopt the following security measures to improve your security on the Internet:

- When creating an account, use at least 8 characters for your password, mixing letters (upper and lower case) and numbers. Do not use your name, or other personal data that can be easily obtained.

- Keep your passwords confidential and avoid using the same password for multiple accounts

By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and disclose it.


If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
